Audit
We offer limited audits for companies.
More information about the prices can be found here.
The Swiss law knows two types of audits:
- Limited audit: the auditor looks for indications of errors. The auditor relies on the documents provided by the company. The auditor does not look for fraud. The auditor does not contact banks to check whether the bank statements provided by the company are genuine and complete. The audit report states that no indication of errors was found.
- Full audit: the audit is much more in depth and uses third-party confirmations to check whether the company was trying to deceive the auditor. The audit report states that the figures are correct.
A limited audit entails less effort for the company and is less costly.
Our company and employees are registered with the Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA). The FAOA exercises oversight of the auditing industry in Switzerland. The FAOA is in this regard similar to Certified Public Accountant (CPA) institutions in the USA or chartered accountant institutions in other parts of the world.
